That's right folks, Nemo and I have teamed up to bring you the best chest-running team around! For those of you who've worked with us before, you know that we are trusted names in the chest-running business, and we hope our new service will help you get your items more easily and more quickly than ever. For those of you new to the world of chest-running, we hope to provide you with the best chest-running service available.

We can also run Lockpicks on normal mode for any of the areas listed above. While the quality of normal mode drops is much lower than that of hard mode drops, the Lockpick retention rate in NM is much higher.

How does this work?

It's pretty straightforward. You are expected to provide the keys or gold for the keys. When we finish running your chests, we'll contact you and return the items that the chests dropped. Please remember that chest running takes time, so please bear with us if it takes a while to work through your keys. Also, if you ask for a very large order, we may ask you to pick up part of the order two or more times, simply because we have to store the items we get somewhere and can run out of room.

This sounds like a scam...

I hate to say it, but there are some people who take advantage of the chest-running market to steal keys, or run the keys but keep the good drops for themselves. However, both of us have been running for a long time, and many of our former clients can attest to our honesty. While we can't control the quality (or quantity, in the case of lockpicks) of items that we get, we guarantee that we will give you only items that come out of the chests we open and are not interested in scamming or stealing from you in any way. We do this to level up our Treasure Hunting titles, not to cheat you out of your hard-earned gold.

**DISCLAIMER - Please Read This**

I hate to include one of these, but occasionally these situations come up, and it's better to address them beforehand.

---While we guarantee to give you all and only the items that come out of the chests we open and will not in any way steal from, scam, or cheat any client, the quality of the items is random and the speed of the runs is influenced by the locations of spawned chests and monsters and other factors. If necessary, we will hold items for up to two weeks after we complete the running. After this point, we reserve the right to identify and/or sell the items in question. If for some reason you cannot pick up your items before two weeks have passed, please contact one of us and we can work something out.---

Please note that the two weeks is your guaranteed minimum; usually it's about a month and a half before I decide that I really need that extra inventory space. Also, the two weeks is assuming that we simply don't see you on and you make no attempt to contact us. If for some reason you aren't able to pick up the items within this time frame, let us know and we'll work something out. If you don't pick up the items because one of us is offline, we're not going to hold you to the disclaimer. Finally, if we do end up repossessing items and you contact us afterward, we'll do our best to find a mutually agreeable resolution.

Most of the time I can run while you wait; as a rough estimate, it takes about 2.5 min/key for most areas.

A Bit of Chest Running Math

For those of you interested in mathematics, or just wanting to check that you're getting a reasonable number of drops, here's a bit the math behind how lockpicks work.
Retaining a lockpick can be modeled using a Bernoulli Trial for breaking. This means that the number of uses until the pick breaks can be modeled with a Geometric Distribution:
X~Geo(p), where p is the probability of the pick breaking on use (1 - the probability of the pick being retained).

The expected value for this function is E(X) = 1/p, meaning that the average number of uses for a given lockpick is (1/p) uses.
The probability mass function of this distribution, the likelihood of a pick lasting for exactly k uses, is [(1-p)^(k-1)]p.
The cumulative distribution function of this distribution, the likelihood of a pick lasting for k or less uses, is given by 1-[(1-p)^k].
Using the cumulative distribution function you can also find the likelihood of a pick lasting at least k uses; this is given by (1-p)^(k-1).

This is rounded to 2 decimal places.

Note that for the purposes of probability, 0.xx = xx% (ex. 0.5 = 50%)

You give us the keys, and we return the gold/purple items from the chests to you unidentified. After that, what you do with the items is entirely up to you.

Hi guys - I have 25 picks for HM PO or NJ or both... as you prefer. IGN Vitas Antronius - I'll be on a little this AM & in the evening if you are in a hurry. I'd like to come with if you're cool with that but it would have to be the weekend. Otherwise, I'll pick up in the weekend if you want to do the runs b4 then. Thanks!

EDIT: Nemo got with me immediately by PM. We met to transfer my lockpicks and he is a very friendly person with a professional attitude. I told him that he could do my run anytime but I think he is waiting till the weekend so that I can tag along - which is fine. I made sure he knew I wasn't in a hurry but that if he wanted to do the run immediately without me I was totally cool with that too. We discussed my goals and he gave me some tips. So far, I'm very impressed

EDIT #2: Unfortunately, I wasn't online as much as I expected this weekend. Met Nemo and he surprised me with the loot from the first half of my order! He had finals going on, so I didn't expect it. I got mostly golds and a tome and an elite tome with just 2 or 3 grapes. And he still has more than half of the picks that I gave him left for the 2nd half of my order! (Remember, I stressed that I was not in a hurry to get this done.) Really nice service.

EDIT #3: Sorry I'm late in posting this but Nemo is conscientious in making his deliveries. I received my chest drops very promptly! My first batch was better than my 2nd batch -- but that's just the luck of the draw (or rather the luck of the drop.

Nope, you just give them the keys.

Nemo ran me 45 Lockpicks, had some nice drops, though some grapes as well.

There is no extra fee. If a key isn't broken, Nemo will continue giving you the drops from that key until it does break. Note: So there's no misunderstanding about what I said; They will not run just one key for you -- there is a minimum # of keys they accept. Check the original post for details about this service.

What they get out of this service to us is it increases their 'Treasure Hunter' title. Although I tipped Nemo with some items and/or cash that is not required but Nemo indicated that he appreciated it.

EDIT: I wrote specifically about Nemo as I have not worked with Fury. When I report on my results with Nemo, that in no way reflects negatively on Fury -- based upon other people's opinion of Fury, I expect that he is just as professional and trustworthy as Nemo.
